Additional Major in DSCT 

Basic Requirements (for non-DSCT students only):

Complete and get A- or above in MATH2411 AND MATH2421 AND

(COMP1021/COMP1022P/COMP1022Q/COMP2011/COMP2012).
 

Additional Requirements (for non-DSCT students only):
Complete:

• 1 COMP Course and 1 MATH Course at 2000 level, AND
• 1 COMP Course and 1 MATH Course at 3000 level (single-counted for DSCT only)
  • All four courses must be Required Courses or Elective Courses listed in the DSCT Curriculum Handbook. 
  • Grade Requirement: A- or above in 2000-level AND B+ or above in 3000-level.

• Procedures:

  Please email the following documents to "dsctug@ust.hk" after consulting with your major program.

  1) an unofficial transcript

  2) a study plan listing all courses for fulfilling the requirement of 20 single-counted credits for the additional major in DSCT and mentioning which courses have fulfilled the additional requirements with the grades.

  Remarks:

  The MATH Department only offers MATH 3423 (in the Fall term only) and MATH 3424 (in the Spring term only) once a year starting from the Academic Year 2022-2023.
